| In the Dense Words was created for a green house-like space at the office of a large, international library brokerage firm. The five frestanding pieces are constructed from books and periodicals that have been laminated together and then chainsawed into tree shapes.
|
| The piece evokes a multiplicity of images: books that have lost their intimacy with people due to computerization and specialization as well as a reference to environmental destruction/recycling. |
